Vitamin B-12 Information

Vitamin B12 or cyanocobaltamin, contains cobalt a mineral important in nutrition of people and animals. Scientists do not know all the things Vitamin B12 does for the body. But investigations have found that injections of tiny amounts of B 12 help in treating persons with pernicious anemia.
Eggs, milk, meat, liver and other animal proteins supply Vitamin B12. Researchers have found that persons who eat only vegetables sometimes lack vitamin B12. However even a small amount of animal protein seems to be able to supply enough of this important vitamin.
